2.1 Highlights
Risk with AWS EC2 startup fixed
Improved performance of Search in Designer
Hybrid architecture support improved with new DBMS Specific setting as optional for Load and Load Steps
New Tags filtering in Data Model, Data Lineage, Package Tree
New Configuration UI for Config Environment Variables
3. NOTIFICATIONS
3.1 Possible breaking change with LOAD_FILE load type and OVERRIDE_FILE_LOAD
There was a bug found that the when having OVERRIDE_FILE_LOAD load step in LOAD_FILE type of a load, GATEKEEPER, PRE, POST, SMOKE_GREY and SMOKE_BLACK load steps were not executed necessarily by the order given in Designer.
3.2 Default AWS RDS instance type changed in Private AWS Edition
This release changes the CPU architecture to ARM based for default AWS RDS instances in Private AWS Edition. If AWS RDS instance type is defined as custom parameters, this change won’t take effect for those instances.
3.3 Known Issues
3.3.1 After any update, upgrade, maintenance, there is one-time error in Code Preview / SQL Export
After downtime there comes one-time error related to key already exists when using SQL Export first time. From there on it should work just ok.
