The VIEW entity type is for creating and managing views in the target database.

Notes

Defining a list of attributes is an optional yet recommended step in creating a view. A view will also function without attribute definitions with only an incoming TRANSFORM_SQL_VIEW type load.

Most physical options, keys and references are not applicable to views in target databases and, therefore, will not affect an actualized object in a target database. However, defining foreign key references in VIEW entities is valuable as modelling metadata and will be used to draw the model view in Agile Data Engine Designer.
