Move to another package

Entities can be moved between packages with the Move to another package feature.

Usage

Entities are moved in the Summary tab with Move to another package:

Target package is selected in the next view:

After moving an entity/entities from package A to package B, commit the packages in the following order:

1. Package B

2. Package A

Deploy the packages to Runtime environments to update package dependencies.

Notes

Entity movement will be processed when the target package is committed.

If no changes were made to the moved entity or other entities in the packages, deploying the packages will not change anything in the target database.
